CAD’s Summer Research Fellowship is designed to provide Fellows with the opportunity to learn about Peru, in general, and governance issues relating to economies in transition, in particular. Fellows will serve as CAD Summer Research Fellows, be included on our roster of affiliated researchers, and receive credit in our published reports. Learn More To be eligible for the CAD Fellowship Program, candidates must be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program. Proficiency in Spanish, while encouraged, is not mandatory. Learn More
Bill Gelfeld. "Despite the relative short tenure of my internship at CAD, I strongly felt that it was a positive and productive experience. In the two weeks that I spent working with the staff at CAD, I was given clear, concise guidelines, and I believe that I was able to provide a valuable product to them by the end of my stint. The entire staff welcomed me from day one and took pride in showing me the many of the different social and culinary highlights of Peru. Though the Winter Fellowship Program is in its infancy, I would highly recommend it to anyone else who wants to gain valuable experience in a short period of time."

Soraya Kelly. "At CAD, I not only gained the opportunity to further develop my research, writing and presentation skills, I also had a chance to improve my Spanish. But perhaps more than anything, I will remember with great fondness the kindness of my bright, energetic co-workers, and the friendships and memories we built in such a short time."
